What is attar and how is it different from perfume?

Attar is a pure, alcohol-free fragrance oil made by distilling botanical ingredients over a sandalwood oil base. Unlike perfumes that are 60–80% alcohol and water, attars are 100% concentrated oil, which means they last much longer (12 to 24 hours) and are gentler on the skin.

Are your attars 100% natural?

Yes. Every Zafreya attar is made from natural botanicals with zero synthetic ingredients and zero alcohol. We use the traditional hydro-distillation method from Kannauj, India.

How long does the fragrance last?

Our attars typically last 12 to 24+ hours depending on the blend. Oudh and amber-based attars tend to last the longest. Skin type, weather, and application method also affect longevity.

Is attar safe for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Since our attars contain no alcohol or synthetic chemicals, they are much gentler than conventional perfumes. However, if you have specific allergies, we recommend testing a small drop on your wrist first.

How should I apply attar?

Apply a small drop to your pulse points like wrists, behind the ears, and neck. The warmth of your skin will naturally diffuse the fragrance throughout the day. A little goes a long way.

We ship via Delhivery and deliver across India within 5–7 working days. You will receive a tracking link once your order is shipped.

Is shipping free?

Yes, shipping is free on all orders above ₹999. For orders below ₹999, a flat delivery charge of ₹79 applies.

Due to the nature of fragrance products, we do not accept returns on opened bottles. If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, contact us within 48 hours and we will arrange a replacement.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it by contacting us on WhatsApp or email. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.
